A search was continuing for a man who went missing while diving at Smitswinkel Bay, in the Western Cape, the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) said on Sunday.
"A dive search co-ordinated by police divers including fire and rescue and the Western Cape emergency management services divers is ongoing this morning," spokesman Craig Lambinon said in a statement.
The 50-year-old Cape Town man went missing on Saturday while on a 34 metre recreational dive with friends. He was suspected to have remained at the Rock Eater wreck after being separated from the other divers he was with.
The search began on Saturday after his friends reported him missing around noon.
