Authorities in the Western Cape are searching for two people who went missing amid the winter storm in the Overberg district.

The latest incident comes after two people died in Bonnievale after the truck they were travelling in became stuck between a river and vineyard.
Local government spokesperson James-Brent Styan says the rescue operations were continuing on Thursday afternoon.
"Multiple rescue efforts continue to be conducted, including a mother and her two children who were rescued in Stormsvlie area, four men who were secured in Riviersonderend and an ongoing evacuation of 30 farmers," said Stayn.
Communities living in low-lying areas are urged to be aware of the fast running and high rising levels of the rivers.
He says lots of rain is still coming in and poses a risk to these areas.
Stayn added that motorists in the area must be cautious as it is impossible to drive in some areas.
