Security beefed up as matrics head to the coast for rage

Festival organisers will make use of undercover police office to monitor for drug use.
Around 15,000 matric "ragers" are expected to descend on the KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) coast for festivities this weekend.
They are expected to attend a number of parties and events in Durban, Umhlanga and Ballito.
Matriculants from around the country are going to KZN to celebrate the end of their high school career.
Organisers say security will be tight.

"At the venue, we have a pat-down to make sure you are not bringing in anything that you should not," says Rage festival's Marina Oreb says they're working with a number of agencies to ensure the event is a safe one.
She adds that they will make use of undercover police office to monitor for drug use, and that there will be volunteers to walk people home should they feel unsafe walking alone.
