Updated | By Bernadette Wolhuter and Shaun Ryan
Three security guards are receiving treatment following a cash-in-transit heist near Greytown in KwaZulu-Natal.

Emergency services raced to the scene of the brazen heist on the R33 on Wednesday afternoon.
National spokesperson, Vish Naidoo says a group of armed men in two vehicles attacked a cash-in-transit vehicle by firing shots at it, causing it to veer off the road.
"They then used explosives to open up the vehicle. They fled with an undisclosed amount of cash," he said.
ER24 says it is understood the guards were hurt when their vehicle overturned.
Paramedics say they sustained minor injuries and managed to get out of the vehicle when it came to a stop.
"They were not hurt when the explosives were detonated", reads ER24's statement.
