Seven killed in separate Limpopo crashes

Seven people have been killed in two separate crashes in Limpopo on Monday morning.

In one of the crashes six people lost their lives when a vehicle overturned on the N1 North next to Baobab tollgate outside Musina.
Limpopo Transport and Community Safety spokesperson Mike Maringa says the driver was speeding and lost control of the vehicle.
“Six people, amongst them a 35-year-old male driver, a 34-year-old female passenger and four children were declared dead on the scene.
"Three passengers escaped with serious injuries and rushed to Musina Hospital."
In another incident a pedestrian died after being hit by a speeding car on the R71 at Mamahule.
The 35-year-old male was certified dead on the scene.
