Seven KZN teachers to be suspended
Updated | By Slindelo Masikane
The Department of Basic Education has confirmed that seven educators in KwaZulu-Natal will be served with suspension letters on Tuesday.

The department says there are four cases of sexual abuse in KZN, involving 6 teachers.
"In one incident three educators are accused of gang raping a learner. In another incident an HOD, school principal and a teacher are seen in a video sexually abusing a learner" says DBE spokesperson Elijah Mhlanga.
Mhlanga says the teacher seen in a video allegedly chasing a girl around a classroom, and hitting her with a stick, is also amongst the group to be suspended.
The department says all of these cases have been reported to the police.
