Severe thunderstorms hit Gauteng
Severe thunderstorm and strong winds hit parts of Gauteng on Monday afternoon.
The South African Weather Service forecaster Bransby Dulo says there is also a possibility of hail.
"Especially in the side of Johannesburg moving to the side of Ekuruleni and we can also in the side of Pretoria - Irene side - storms have just developed we just have to monitor and see if they are going to be severe," Dulo says.

Dulo says a warning will be issued should the weather pattern continue.
Dulo says Tuesday will be warm but thunderstorms can be expected in the afternoon.
"We are going to 50% chance for Gauteng and areas close to the province, that means highveld of Mpumalanga, southern parts of Limpopo as well as the eastern parts of the North West Province."
