The Nquthu Magistrate's Court has heard that a teacher accused of having sex with pupils is likely to face more charges.
The 45-year-old man - who is currently facing six charges - has been applying for bail in that court.
Investigating Officer Maxwell Nsele has been testifying in the bail application.
He's told the court that police are still awaiting the cellphone records of the accused as well as the alleged victims.
Nsele earlier told the court that the accused had taken-in two schoolgirls who are from poor families to live with him in his cottage situated on the school premises.
He says one of the teenagers managed to escape, but the teacher began sending her threatening smses and Whatsapp messages on her cellphone.
Last week the accused, through his attorney, admitted to the court that he had two pending cases against him - one of attempted murder and the other of being in possession of an illegal firearm.
It's emerged in court that he was found with four revolvers as well 11 rounds of ammunition - which investigators say were amongst 14 that were stolen when a security company was robbed in uMbilo last year.
