Updated | By Neo Motloung
The Gauteng Department of Education is heading to the
Valhalla Primary School in the south of Tshwane to investigate allegations of
sexual assault levelled against a teacher at the school.

Department of Education spokesperson, Steve Mabona, says the psych-social unit will also be dispatched to the school.
"We will be going there this morning to interact with the school community," says Mabona.
He adds the department plans to take action against the educator as soon as the department has all the relevant information.
"We understand that some of the parents have already opened cases at the police stations."
Mabona says the educator will be removed from the school and other processes will be followed.
