Sheriff evicts Free State judge from townhouse
Updated | By Lonwabo Miso
Free State High Court Judge Shamin Ebrahim was evicted from her townhouse in Bloemfontein, the Volksblad reported on Wednesday.

The report said the judge's belongings were carried out onto the pavement around 5.30pm on Tuesday.
The eviction followed a court order that she move out of the townhouse by the end of May.
The report said the judge's lease ended in January this year but she refused to move out despite various written notices.
The Free State High Court granted an eviction order against the judge in April.
She did not oppose the order.
The newspaper reported the sheriff had helped in trying to organise storage space for the judge after the eviction on Tuesday afternoon.
