Shock at horror killing of Limpopo social worker
Police in Limpopo have launched a massive manhunt after a social worker was shot and killed in her driveway.
The 45-year-old was gunned down while parking her car at the home on Sunday.
Police say the social worker was returning home from her shift when an unknown group of gunmen attacked her in a residential area in Louis Trichardt.
“Unknown suspects emerged and shot her several times killing her instantly,” says spokesperson, Moatshe Ngoepe.
The motive behind the killing is still unclear and police are investigating a case of murder.
“The deceased was found lying dead with multiple gunshot wounds on her body.”
