Shudufhadzo Musida: Mental health is a topic I am passionate about
Updated | By Karabo Tebele
Newly crowned Miss South Africa Shudufhadzo Musida has committed to prioritize mental health issues.
Musida donated food, books and sporting equipment to pupils at Nsovo Special School in Malamulele on Friday.
She visited the Limpopo school as part of her homecoming tour and again vowed to raise the issue of mental health during her reign.
“Mental health is a topic I am passionate about and today I just want to pledge my commitment to it. Like she said, we do not come here empty-handed, we come with the few things to address some of the needs you might have.
“We have brought you food, we brought you books, and we brought you sporting equipment and we hope it may be useful to further your work at Nsovo Special School. There is good work that is being done here and to the management of the school, thank you for the great work and it is not going to be the last time you see us here.”
