The case against a Sibanye-Stillwater employee accused of stabbing his colleague to death has been postponed for a formal bail application.

The 43-year-old man, Boinelelo Lefefa, made his first appearance in the Westonaria Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
The accused allegedly stabbed his colleague with a knife several times at the Lesedi mine hostel on Thursday.
A video of the accused taking photos with the deceased has since gone viral on social media.
"The accused committed this heinous crime in broad daylight, with onlookers who captured the incident, and the pictures and videos were circulated on social media," said NPA spokesperson Phindi Mjonondwane.
"The accused handed over the knife to the police and is currently in custody, while the case has been postponed to 20 November for legal representation and formal bail application."
