State capture: Six allegations made by Mcebisi Jonas

Former deputy finance minister Mcebisi Jonas gave explosive testimony at the commission of inquiry into state sapture on Friday.
Here are 6 of the damning allegations:
1. "Mr Gupta said to me the president was is going to fire Mr Nene because he could not work with them... 'you must understand that we are in control of everything,' the National Prosecuting the Authority, the Hawks, the national intelligence agency."
2. "At the end of the meeting, Mr Gupta repeated that they had information on me and if I suggested that the meeting had occurred they would kill me.”
3. "At the moment we, which I understood as the Gupta family, earn about R6 billion from the fiscus, through various entities including Eskom, Transnet and government departments. He said they wanted to increase this amount to R8 billion and thought I could be helpful in this regard.
4. "Mr Gupta said they have determined that the National Treasury is a stumbling blog for their growth."
5. "He [Mr. Gupta] and said they were serious about offering me R600 million and that it will be deposited in the amount of my choice, and that they could open an account for and the money can be stashed in Dubai."
6. "The Hawks Major General Zinhle Mnonopi told us that this, and I quote, "was a DA matter", unquote and that I did not want to help the DA and that they wanted to kill the case."
