Six die in Durban harbour fire

Six crew members of a fishing vessel have been confirmed
dead during a fire onboard the ship at the Durban harbour in KwaZulu-Natal.
The vessel caught fire on Thursday afternoon and rescue operations continued throughout the night.
Life Response Ambulance Service spokesperson, Leon Fourie, says the bodies were recovered in the early hours of Friday morning.
"Approximately at 1:30 am this morning the fire was put out, and six bodies were retrieved from the vessel," says Fourie.
He adds their bodies have been identified as the six crew members who went missing during the blaze.
The cause of the fire is still unknown, and investigations continue.
