Six-year-old boy dies in Free State crash

A six-year-old boy was killed when the car in which he was travelling rolled on the N3 near Frankfort in the Free State on Sunday, paramedics said.

Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha said the car veered off the N3 near the Frankfort off-ramp in the early hours of Sunday morning.
“?Reports from the scene are that the family, consisting of two adults and two children, was travelling along the N3 when the vehicle left the road and overturned, rolling several times,” said Botha.
The two adults and a two-year-old toddler sustained serious injuries and were taken to hospital. The six-year-old boy was declared dead at the scene.
