Sixteen injured in Midrand crash
Sixteen people were injured when a minibus taxi crashed into the rear of a truck in Midrand on Thursday morning, paramedics said.
The accident happened on George Road in Glen Austin, Netcare 911 spokeswoman Santi Steinmann said.
"The injured people were treated on scene before they were transported to hospital for further medical care."
They sustained injuries ranging from moderate to critical.
The cause of the accident was not known, Steinmann said.
