South Africa records 806 new Covid-19 deaths, with the recovery rate falling again

South Africa has recorded 806 new Covid-19 related fatalities across the country.
This is according to Covid-19 statistics released by National Health Minister, Dr Zweli Mkhize on Wednesday evening.
KwaZulu-Natal has recorded 235 deaths, followed by Gauteng with 211 and the Western Cape with 151 Covid-19 related fatalities.
The Eastern Cape has recorded 150 fatalities while the Free State has recorded a further 24 deaths.

Both the provinces of Limpopo and Mpumalanga have each recorded 14 fatalities with the Northern Cape recording 7 deaths.
The country’s cumulative fatalities now stand at 35 140.
The recovery rate has shown a decline - 80.6%.
