South Africans evacuated from Wuhan to go home after 14-day quarantine

President Cyril Ramaphosa has declared The Ranch resort in Limpopo a green zone after everyone at the resort were found to be COVID-19 free by health officials.
The resort has been home to some 100 South Africans since their arrival back in the country from Wuhan, China, 14 days ago.

The South Africans were repatriated following the outbreak of the COVID-19 Coronavirus in that city.

Ramaphosa said that the repatriated South Africans have all tested negative for COVID-19 and will be released back home in a send-off ceremony on Sunday.
“We are now able to declare the ranch a green zone. It has been a red-zone all along. As you know, its where we have put our students, the cabin crew of the flight that fetch them, as well as our military medical officers and the crew that flew them here in quarantine together with the staff that work here,” said Ramaphosa
“Now we have gone passed the 14 days of quarantine and everybody who is in this facility has been tested and has found to be negative of Coronavirus.”
