Soweto boy, 11, raped
An 11-year-old boy was raped, allegedly by two other minors at the Doornkop cemetery in Soweto, Gauteng police said on Thursday.
A local resident witnessed the crime on Wednesday evening and reported it to the 11-year-old's parents, Warrant Officer Kay Makhubela said.
The alleged rapists were both 14 years old. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
The two teenagers were arrested and taken to a place of safetyMakhubela said. They are expected to appear in the Protea Magistrate's Court soon.
