Two teenage boys were arrested on Thursday in connection with the murder of two Soweto schoolgirls, Gauteng police said.

The boys, both aged 16, were nabbed at a school, Brigadier Neville Malila said in a statement.
Thandeka Moganetsi and Chwayita Rathazayo, aged 15 and 16, were found dead in Dobsonville on Wednesday morning. Malila said they were dressed in George Xhosa Secondary School uniforms and had cuts on their hands and necks.
"Three black candles and two new razor blades were found on the scene."
The police's occult investigation unit had been called in. The boys would appear in the Protea Magistrate's Court on Friday.
