Soweto men held for murder

Five men were arrested in Zondi on Thursday in connection with murder and robbery, Soweto police said.

 

The men were caught after a tip-off, said Warrant Officer Kay Makhubela. In June, they allegedly shot dead a shop owner and wounded another before robbing them of cash and airtime. The five men, aged between 19 and 25, would appear in the Protea Magistrate's Court soon, said Makhubela.
