Cricket South Africa’s (CSA) biggest sponsor Willowton Group has demanded the immediate resignations of executives at the body.
The company is the manufacturer of Sunfoil Cooking Oil.
The sport’s administrators have been embroiled in a crisis sparked by the withdrawal of media accreditation of five leading journalists.
There has also been drama around Protea captain Graeme Smith, who publicly withdrew his application for the role of Director of Cricket.
Independent member Iqbal Khan has also served the CSA board with its second letter of immediate resignation on Wednesday.

Khan issued following Professor Shirley Zinn’s resignation from the board on Monday.
In a statement, Willowton Group says they are concerned with the state of affairs at the sports body.
“We wish to call CSA to immediate order and for the ‘decision making’ individuals within the organisation to strongly consider whether they are best suited to their positions.”
CSA will hold a special board meeting on Saturday following a week of drama and controversy.
