Spur CCTV footage shows man grabbing child
Spur has released the CCTV footage of the altercation between a man and woman at one of its branches in Johannesburg.
In the video, the man can be seen grabbing the woman's child by the arm.
The altercation made headlines after an eyewitness video went viral.
The Spur Corporation has banned the man from all branches in the country.
The corporation also acknowledged that staff and management of the Texamo Spur at The Glen Shopping Centre in Johannesburg did not sufficiently assist the woman who was confronted by the man in front of several children on Sunday.
"We affirm our decision to ban the male customer from our stores, physical aggression towards our customers, particularly against women and children will not be tolerated," the corporation said.
