Stage 3 & 4 load shedding to be implemented on Wednesday, Thursday

Spokesperson Sikonathi Mantshantsha says stage 3 power cuts between 05:00 and 16:00 on both days, while stage four will follow at 16:00. 

"Lower stages of loadshedding will be implemented for the rest of the week. 

“Eskom anticipates lower stages of loadshedding to be implemented through the weekend as some units return to service. Should anything change in the intervening period, Eskom will communicate and implement any changes as may be necessary."

South Africans have been subjected to continious rolling blackouts for the past three weeks.

But there could be some light at the end of the tunnel, wih Eskom hoping to end the latest bout of load shedding in the next ten days.
