State Capture commission: Six things you need to know

Deputy chief justice Raymond Zondo, who has been appointed as the chairperson of the commission of inquiry into state capture, briefed the media on Tuesday.

Zondo gave an update on the commission, which is yet to start its work.
Here are six things you need to know:
1. The Presidency is still finalising the commission's terms of reference.
2. A secretary, evidence leaders and investigators are yet to be appointed.
3. The commission has been given 180 days to complete its work.
4. There is no date set for when the commission will begin.
5. Zondo says he believes he will get all the support necessary from President Jacob Zuma and government to investigate all allegations of state capture.
6. Zondo believes the Public Protector's report must be used as a basis to determine the terms of reference as the commission.
