State challenges Pistorius sentence
Updated | By JacarandaFM News
The Oscar Pistorius case returns to court on Friday, when the State will argue in the Appeals Court why the paralympic athlete should serve a longer jail sentence.
The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) has been quoted as saying the six years Pistorius is currently servicing for killing his girl friend - is shockingly low.
The NPA maintains they will bring a strong case to the one-day hearing.
Pistorius was originally convicted of culpable homicide, for killing Reeva Steenkamp in 2013, when he shot four times through a bathroom door of his house.
