The City of Tshwane has warned that at least four streets will be closed for a protest march on Friday.
The Democratic Alliance (DA) will march to the Union Buildings on Friday morning on what it calls a 'National Day of Action'.
DA leader Mmusi Maimane is expected to lead hundreds of marchers to the seat of government to demand solutions to the electricity crisis.
They will be handing over a memorandum to the President's office.

Maimane says similar protests will be held across the country.
"We will be holding several protests in every province across the country and we call on all South Africans to join us in protest on what is a national crisis.”
Metro police spokesperson Isaac Mahamba says the march will begin in Arcadia at 10:00 and end at the Union Buildings at 14:00.
