Students protest at UJ campus over fees
Updated | By Maryke Vermaak
A small group of protesters gathered outside the University of Johannesburg's Doornfontein campus Monday afternoon as part of the 'Fees Must Fall' movement.
The group, which also included high school pupils, sang and marched by the campus under the watchful eye of police.
A member of the group addressed students waiting for buses, telling them they will not allow any more buses to pick up or drop off students in front of the university, also urging them to participate in the shutdown.
The students were told "you are either with us, or you are with us".
