Suspect questioned for Cape Town lawyer’s murder

A suspect has been taken in for
questioning in connection with a murder of a well-known Cape Town lawyer.

A man, reported to be advocate Pete Mihalik, was shot and killed outside his son’s soon on Tuesday morning.
Western Cape police's Noloyiso Rwexana says the defence lawyer was approached by an unknown number of gunmen while dropping his son at school in Green Point

His eight-year-old son is recovering in hospital after he was also shot and wounded in the process.
The lawyer has defended a number of prominent figures from the Cape underworld in court.
No arrests have been made.
