NASA has released a video of a virtual tour of the moon.
The Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter spacecraft has released data allowing for a virtual tour of the moon.
This will allow non-astronauts to take a virtual tour of the moon in all-new 4K resolution, thanks to data provided by NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) spacecraft.

"As the visualization moves around the near side, far side, north and south poles, we highlight interesting features, sites, and information gathered on the lunar terrain," reads a statement by NASA.
The LRO initially recorded a five minute tour of the moon in 2011.
The tour visits a number of well-known and some unfamiliar sites on the surface of the moon.
