Taxi driver denied bail
Updated | By Lonwabo Miso

The driver of the minibus taxi involved in an accident which killed 11 people in Mpumalanga was denied bail in the Standerton Magistrate's Court on Monday.
"He was remanded and will remain in custody," court officials said.
Tsepang Motloung would appear again on October 15.
Eleven people were killed and six others were injured on Friday when Motloung's taxi collided head-on with a truck on the R23 between Perdekop and Standerton.
Motloung allegedly failed to stop at a "stop and go" road construction checkpoint and continued to drive on the single-lane road.
