Teacher admits relationship with teenager
A teacher at Mafikeng High School has admitted to having a sexual relationship with one of her students.
A female teacher at Mahikeng High School, in North West, has admitted having a sexual relationship with a teenage boy at his home in Denville, SABC news reported on Tuesday.
Geraldine Sheldonlake was appearing in the Mmabatho Regional Court.
The boy testified they had sex several times in Mahikeng and also in Cape Town.
He said he was enticed by gifts and money, and was 16 when the relationship began. The boy said the relationship severely affected him.
Judgment was expected this week, the SABC reported.
