Teacher to face "harsh action" for assaulting pupil

Education officials in KwaZulu-Natal is considering taking action against a teacher who is seen assaulting learners in his classroom.
The Provincial Department paid a visit to the Umdlamfe Secondary School in Esikhawini today.
"I can confirm they [district officials] obviously will have to take harsh action against this teacher," says the department's Kwazi Mthethwa.
A video of the incident has surfaced on social media in which the teacher is seen shoving a schoolgirl and viciously attacking her with the stick while she screams.
