Teacher's decomposed body found

The body of a missing 56-year-old woman has been found by police near Lorwaneng village in North West.

Thuli Ngwenya went missing on Saturday.
Police spokesperson Yvonne Maquboza says police in Mahikeng are investigating a case of kidnapping and murder.
Family spokesperson Lucky Mohalaba says Ngwenya's death has been a traumatic experience.
"We are still coming to terms with her passing and it's quite difficult. Her children are very strong.I think there is support from family members."

Mohalaba says the manner in which Ngwenya died is difficult to accept.
"I think moreover it's how she died, it's more traumatic to her children. It makes things difficult for them and some of us as family members."
Thuli Ngwenya taught at Lekoko Primary School and has been described by the family as a God-fearing woman.
Mohalaba says the family would like those responsible must be brought to book.
"We want to see justice and as a family we continue to pray. Our view is that police must find these perpetrators because today it's her and tomorrow it could be somebody else."
Ngwenya was last seen on Saturday when she went to one of the banks in Mahikeng.
It is alleged that her blue Mazda CX3 was found parked near a taxi rank in town.
