Teams reveal their Super Rugby kit
Updated | By ANA
After a thunderous season in Super Rugby and the Currie Cup, it was no surprise that exciting flank Jaco Kriel was named as the Golden Lions’ Player of the Year on Tuesday night.
The 26-year-old loose forward was in irresistible form throughout 2015, and was one of the unlucky players to miss out on the Springbok squad for the Rugby World Cup.
But at least he was recognised for his outstanding displays by his province at their annual awards event on Tuesday night at Carnival City.
Kriel was chosen as the Lions’ Player of the Year, the Players’ Player of the Year, which is voted for by his peers, and his popularity with the public was also evident as he was handed the Supporters’ Player of the Year as well.
The Lions Rugby Union also revealed their Super rugby jerseys for next year.
