Tekkies worth R3.8m confiscated at Lebombo border

Police have confiscated illicit tekkies worth R3.8 million at the Lebombo border post on Saturday.
The tekkies were smuggled from Mozambique through the Lebombo border.
Police spokesperson Selvy Mohala says a 27-year-old man has been arrested.
The Zimbabwean national has been charged with possession of counterfeit goods.
The suspect is expected to appear in the Komatipoort Magistrates Court on Monday.
“The truck, which is worth about R3.5 million was confiscated as it was reportedly used in the commission of crime.”
