Ten killed in two separate crashes

Five people were killed and one child survived but is in a serious condition after a bakkie and a sedan car collided head-on on the N1 highway bear Mokopane in the Limpopo province on Tuesday, Arrive Alive said.
“Honnetsweng EMS Paramedics who where returning from a critical medical transfer in Pretoria tried to resuscitate patients who were severely injured but they was nothing more that they could do as five of them were declared dead on scene due to injuries sustained,” the Arrive Alive Website said.
“A critically injured child received advanced life support care and was transported by Honnetsweng EMS intensive care ambulance to Limpopo Medi-Clinic in Polokwane for further medical care. ”

Police and traffic officials were on the scene investigating the cause of the crash.
Also on Tuesday, Netcare911 reported that five people died when a minibus taxi and a sedan vehicle collided head-on in Bethlehem in the Free State.
