The wearer can use a companion mobile app to choose which situations their nails will automatically light up, such as when the phone rings or when the battery is low.

A set of nails can by bought for the equivalent of £7 Each set contains 16 stick-on nails, of which one is NFC and LED-enabled.
While the nails have only cosmetic use, NFC is a useful technology.
