Third suspect arrested for Phala Phala theft

Hawks have arrested a third suspect in connection with theft of foreign currency from President Cyril Ramaphosa's Phala Phala farm in Limpopo.
The suspect is expected to appear in the Bela Bela Magistrate’s Court on Friday.
The suspect will join two other suspects Imanuwela David and Froliana Joseph in the dock.
Limpopo NPA spokesperson Mashudu Malabi-Dzhangi says the suspect was arrested on Thursday.
The president's farm made headlines last year after former spy boss Arthur Fraser revealed that a large amount of US dollars were stolen at the farm in February 2020.
Fraser alleged Ramaphosa attempted to cover up the theft.
