Three arrested after robbery caught on CCTV

Three alleged armed robbers were arrested by Johannesburg Central police after they were spotted on CCTV robbing a man at about 4am on Sunday morning, Gauteng police said.
The suspects were captured by CCTV cameras while robbing a male at [the] corner [of] King George and Noord streets this morning [Sunday], Warrant Officer Xoli Mbele said.
Police were dispatched to the scene, the men were arrested nearby, and a laptop and unlicensed firearm were recovered.
The three men, aged between 24 and 37, would be charged with armed robbery, possession of suspected stolen property, and possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.
An investigation was under way and the men would appear in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court soon, Mbele said.
