Three arrested with toy gun for robbery at a Pep store in Gqeberha

The men are expected to appear in the Gqeberha Magistrates Court on Monday.
Three suspects are in police custody following their failed attempt to break into the Pep Stores at Govan Mbeki Avenue in Gqeberha on Thursday.
Police spokesperson, Sandra Janse van Rensburg says at about 4.30 pm the men smashed the cell phone display cabinet and grabbed 14 phones.

Van Rensburg says Metro police officers responded swiftly and made an arrest.
It was later established that the suspects had threatened the staff with a toy gun.
The men are expected to appear in the Gqeberha Magistrates Court on Monday.
