Three in court for murder of missing Mpumalanga girl (6)

Three suspects arrested for the murder, rape, and kidnapping of 6-year-old Bontle Mashiyane will appear in court on Monday.
Bontle’s mutilated body was found in a shallow grave a few metres from her home after she went missing last month in Mganduzweni near Whiteriver in Mpumalanga.
Her body was pointed out by a suspect who was released on parole in December last year.
The suspects, a woman, her boyfriend, and the parolee were all Bontle's neighbours.
Mpumalanga Premier Refilwe Mtsweni-Tsipane says the suspects confessed to the gruesome killing.
"She was part and parcel of the search, and this is not the first murder they have committed. They have confessed to having murdered four children in the same street, and this one is the fifth child, two of the children are her sisters' kids. What kind of a woman is this?
"The child's body parts were cut, and her head was left with an empty skull, it was just a shell of everything the eyes, ears, tongue. The child was raped before he was murdered. A 6-year-old child was raped by a 40-year-old man and being instructed by the woman, her neighbour."
Mtsweni-Tsipane says two more suspects are being questioned by police, including a traditional healer.
