Three people were killed in a fire that ripped through the Cemetery View informal settlement in Pretoria East on Friday evening.

City of Tshwane spokesperson Selby Bokaba says the victims include a child and two men.
The destruction of 300 structures has left some 2 000 people without a roof over their heads.
"The City of Tshwane, in conjunction with other stakeholders, has activated a humanitarian and social relief plan in the aftermath of the fire disaster," says Bokaba.
"The city’s Roads and Transport Department has made available six buses to transport the victims of the fire to temporary accommodation venues arranged at the Stanza Bopape Hall in Mamelodi East, as well as at the community hall in Mamelodi West.
"The city is in negotiations with churches within Region 6 to accommodate other victims.
"The SAPS has taken over the fire scene and cordoned off the area for investigation purposes.
"Tshwane’s Community and Social Development Department and the city's emergency services are coordinating inter-governmental social relief efforts together with other structures such as SASSA , Social Department and Human Settlements to ensure that the victims’ plight receives the necessary consideration."
Bokaba said the relocation process started Saturday afternoon.
