Three die in Germiston car crash
Three people died in a car crash and one was critically injured at the intersection of Main Reef and Field, in Germiston, in the early hours of Thursday morning, said ER24 Spokesperson Chitra Bodasing.
Paramedics found a crashed vehicle near a cement block on the side of the road, said Bodasing.
"Three people, two men and a woman, trapped in the vehicle had sadly succumbed to their injuries. They were declared dead.
The jaws of life was used to extricate the fatally wounded."
A critically injured patient was extricated from the vehicle, treated and taken to hospital.
Authorities were on the scene investigating the cause of the crash.
