Three escaped prisoners still on the run in Limpopo
Police have launched a manhunt for three awaiting-trial prisoners who managed to escape from custody in Haenertzburg on Friday.
The police's Moatshe Ngoepe says the three prisoners escaped from the holding cells overnight.
The three, Abel Modiba, Thomas Nkuna and Elia Makgaba, are aged between 27 and 33, and considered to be dangerous.
Ngoepe says the three were arrested for various crimes, including armed robbery.
A case of escaping from lawful custody has been opened.
