Three held for body found in torched car
Two men and a woman have been arrested in connection with a body found in a burning car in Lenasia, Gauteng police said on Wednesday.
They were arrested in Boksburg on Tuesday night, said Warrant Officer Kay Makhubela.
The woman's body was found on the back seat of the burning car on Friday.
"Our investigation found that they ordered jewellery from a jewellery shop and the lady came to deliver the jewels to their house in Boksburg," he said.
"They took her and drove with her to Lenasia where they killed her and burnt the car."
A missing persons case had been reported to the police.
Makhubela said a case of murder had been opened.
The three would appear soon in court.
