Three homes torched over Krugersdorp kidnapping
Updated | By Pieter van der Merwe
Residents took to the streets on Thursday night.

Three houses have been set alight in the Krugersdorp area by outraged community members.
Residents of the Kagiso township took to the streets and targeted the buildings and looted a number of shops, situated in town.
Police say the unrest stems from the alleged kidnapping of a young woman.
She has since been found.
"We thank the community and all the members of the police for all their efforts ensuring that the lady is home and is safe," says police spokesperson Tshepiso Mashele.
No further incidents of violence have been reported as police continue to monitor the situation.
"But this morning everything looks okay, luckily no one was injured last night," adds Mashele.
