Three people sustained burns and traumatic injuries after a light aircraft made an emergency landing and burst into flames at Lanseria Airport in Johannesburg.

Netcare911 said at about 3:30pm a light aircraft burst into flames shortly after landing.
"Paramedics treated two of the men on scene before transporting them to a level one trauma burns facility in Johannesburg for further medical care," Netcare said.
"The third man was treated by paramedics from another emergency service on scene before being transported to hospital."

Lanseria International Airport spokesperson, Claudette Vianello, who was at the scene, said the airport's operations had not been affected.
"It was a Falcon 402 with three people inside. Fortunately, there were no fatalities. Our operations remain normal and not affected," Vianello said.
The airport is a privately owned international airport that is situated to the north west of Johannesburg.
