Three injured in Redhill crash
Updated | By ANA
Three people were injured when the car they were travelling in overturned on the Old North Coast Road in Redhill, North of Durban, on Sunday afternoon, paramedics said.
Crisis Medical paramedics arrived on the scene, close to Glen Anil Street, to find the injured occupants trying to free themselves from the wreckage, Crisis Medical spokesman Kyle van Reenen said in a statement.
“Intermediate life support intervention was needed to stabilise the driver and two passengers, before they were placed onto specialised stretchers for suspected neck and spinal cord injuries and transported by ambulance through to a nearby hospital for further care.”
It was unclear what caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle leading to it overturning. The authorities were on scene and would investigate further, he said.
